You’ve got a week17 May

The Back-Logged Life is a great rant on the info-glut many people are experiencing. I know a few of my friends constantly check their Blackberrys, which also leads to a dwindling lack of attention when talking to them. Even worse, some executives bring them in to meetings and don’t pay attention to what’s being discussed. For example, in a recent meeting an executive was asked a direct question which he didn’t answer…crickets. The entire room was waiting for his response, but he was too busy looking at his Blackberry, chuckling, to realize that he needed to answer something. Someone needs to publish a "Blackberry Etiquette" (aka Mobile Device) book.

Okay, somehow I got off on a tangent there. From info-glut to attention-drought.

When not consumed with work, I live, love, and enjoy life with my family.
