    If it were me, to be safe, I wouldn’t remove any drives from Drobo until the lights that are flashing green and orange return to solid green, then remove the drive with flashing red. At the end of the day though I don’t think it matters because the drive bay with the flashing red light is telling you that that hard drive has died, so removing it won’t harm you and is in effect academic at this point. But like I said, to be safe I would recommend waiting until the rebuild has completed.

    Thanks, Tom. I’ve replaced the drive (Seagate 1TB). However, it still reports as a failed drive. Grr.
